Ann-Christin Fischer joined Lawentus as a newly sworn attorney in the summer of 2022. In addition to studying law in Marburg, she also spent a year studying economics in New York. During her studies and legal clerkship, she was able to gain initial practical experience in corporate M&A in internationally operating law firms both in Frankfurt and Munich. Ann-Christin Fischer is a former competitive athlete and now takes it a little easier by playing golf. She has arrived in her elected home of Hamburg and is always on the lookout for a new culinary spot.

Alexander Herms is an attorney at Lawentus and has been on board with us since 2018. He is very interested in other countries and cultures and therefore has already completed stations in Pennsylvania, Poland, Freiburg and Geneva during his High School years and studies. Alexander Herms enjoys assisting our clients through various stages of development. He is an enthusiastic road cyclist and an amateur chef. Hannah Heinrich supports Lawentus in the areas of accounting, IT, and anti-money laundering. After graduating from high school in Hamburg and completing a federal volunteer service in Kiel, she studied political science while gaining experience at various companies and startups.

Julius Rodatz has been supporting the team at Lawentus since April 2026 in the areas of corporate law and M&A. Prior to this, he worked for several years at an international operating law firm, where he gained extensive experience in commercial law matters.
His desire to work more closely with clients and to take on a broader range of legal work led him to consciously join a smaller organization. There, he values the opportunity to take on responsibility, to handle matters in a holistic way, and to shape his own professional development through his own initiative.
Julius studied in Freiburg and completed his legal traineeship in locations including Hamburg, Schleswig, and Itzehoe. In addition to his legal work, he plays tennis and field hockey and has also been playing golf for several years – with a competitive spirit, but above all with enjoyment of social interaction and fairness.

Steffen Leicht is a co-founder of Lawentus, but he and Tilman Rückert already know each other from their time together at Freshfields. Steffen Leicht loves to travel and has already tried out several countries professionally. He studied in Tübingen and Aix-en-Provence and then worked in law firms in Hamburg and New York. In doing so, he has already had good experience with interconnected work between lawyers, auditors and tax advisors – an approach that we are now pursuing together at Lawentus. Steffen Leicht enjoys visiting museums, riding his racing bike and relaxing while gardening.

Tilman Rückert is a co-founder of Lawentus and has been a lawyer for 25 years. After studying in Hamburg and working for various law firms in Hamburg and London, he founded our law firm together with Steffen Leicht in 2014. Tilman Rückert has an almost encyclopedic knowledge, because he is interested in extremely diverse topics – from Lego Architecture and insolvency law to wine and football (soccer to some of our readers). With this curiosity, he also devotes himself to the challenges of our clients and always wants to understand their business in detail.
